GMC Call For Papers Deadline Is This Friday, March 16  

Share Your Ideas, Knowledge & Experience at the 2018 Gas Machinery Conference!  

The GMC Planning Committee will accept papers for the conference based on an informative abstract submitted by this Friday, March 16. All abstracts will be evaluated on the information supplied. The review committee will use this information to help select papers, assign time slots and assign technical reviewers.

Randall Raymer Receives 2017 GMRC Edward N. Henderson Award

Randall Raymer - GMRC Henderson Award
Raymer received the GMRC Edward N. Henderson Award at the 2017 Gas Machinery Conference in Pittsburgh, PA.

Randall Raymer originally started his gas company career with Columbia Gas and later moved to what was then Cooper Bessemer. From there, he transitioned to Michigan Wisconsin Pipeline, which later became ANR.

Update on Hurricane Harvey

CECO Vice President James R. Hutton an Engineer, Author, Mentor and Champion for the Industry

James R. Hutton died on April 8, 2017, of natural causes related to age. He was 96. Hutton served as Vice President of Sales for Compressor Engineering Corp. (CECO) and was one of the nation’s leading mechanical engineers. He was a Fellow of the American Society of mechanical engineers — the highest distinction any Mechanical Engineer can achieve. In October of 2012, Hutton received the Edward N. Henderson Award from the Gas Machinery Research Council (GMRC). The award honors distinguished service to the GMRC and the natural gas industry.
