The Foundation Design and Analysis and Existing Foundation Repair course provides:
- An overview of foundation design and analysis methods for new installations
- Re-grouting, engineering considerations and repair procedures that must be implemented.
Foundation design and repair failures can end up cost you big time -- learn from the best to keep your foundation problems a thing of the past.
The revised course presents a unique understanding of the design and analysis of new foundations for reciprocating compressors, as well as, the failure and repair of existing compressor foundations. The instructors will cover topics such as -- vibration dissipation ----- equipment mounting ----- soil characteristics ----- design specifications -----foundation loads ----- failure analysis methods ----- and repair techniques.
In addition, important aspects of various ACI specifications will be reviewed in a practical manner. The basics of installing a foundation and common problem areas will be discussed. This course covers reciprocating compressor foundations through inception, design, installation, operation, failure, and repair.
Instructors
A top notch group of experienced industry experts will teach the class. The instructional team includes Bob Rowan and Charlie Rowan Robt. L. Rowan & Associates and Geoff Anderson and Brian Remy of Tech Transfer Inc.
